BRIEF ITINERARY

Day 01
Leh Arrival

We reach Leh in the morning according to our flights. Today is the rest day. As Leh is situated at a high altitude of above 11,000ft, we need a strict day off for rest and to get acclimatized to the thin air.

Day 02
Leh local

The day starts around 10 am. We have breakfast in the hotel and go to Spituk monastery. We will also visit the old Nyamgyal palace also known as Leh palace followed by Tsemo monastery to get an eagle view of Leh city. Later this afternoon we visit Shanti stupa, one of the best stops in Leh. Followed by Hall of Fame, here we will see a small film on Kargil war and the bravery of our proud Indian army.

Day 03
Leh-Turtuk

Post breakfast we start our journey towards Turtuk. On the way, we stop at Khardung La (18,380ft) - known as the world's highest motorable road. A proud place to click some pictures.
Turtuk is the last village on the India-Pak border which is allowed to visit by civilians. Turtuk is the only part of Baluchistan which is in India now. The village was in Pakistan till 1971, 72’s war India won it. We will get to see the India-Pak border and checkpoints right from the place where we stay. We will take a small walk around the village and see some amazing things we never thought existed.

Day 04
Turtuk – Hunder (Nubra valley)

We will take a morning walk in the village to get an idea of a balti culture ( the only part of Baltistan in India). After breakfast, we go to Thaang & Tyakshi which is last Indian army post on the India Pakistan border. After which we start our journey towards Nubra valley. Hunder, 'bhaag milkha bhaag' fame, is known for its cold desert sand dunes. We will get to see the double hump bacterian camels only found in this area. Just besides sand dunes, there are cultural shows, if you wish you can visit them.

Day 05
Nubra valley - Pangong Tso

Another day to start early morning to reach another fascinating destination through a newly opened short cut road to Pangong Tso from Nubra valley is via Shyok river bed. Pangong tso,The '3 idiots' fame pangong tso. We reach Pangong by lunchtime. In the evening we will witness the beautiful sun setting behind the golden mountains of Pangong. Stay overnight in luxurious swiss tents on the bank of Pangong Tso

Day 06
Pangong Tso – Leh

The day starts early again, post breakfast we start our journey back to Leh. On the way, we cross Chang la ( 17,000+ ft) known as the world's third-highest motorable road. We will then visit the Sindhu Ghat - the only ghat placed on the river Sindhu is also known as the Indus river.

Day 07
Leh fly off

Fly off The tour is ending with lots of memories and a bunch of amazing people. Post breakfast we leave for Airport and depart.
